I came up short with my play on the OVER in this game yesterday, but I think the stage is finally set for some offensive fireworks between these teams on Thursday afternoon.
I don't trust either starting pitcher. Tyler Skubal is 6-10 with a 4.53 ERA for the Tigers, while Martin Perez is 7-7 with a 4.56 ERA for the Red Sox. I believe each will exit early, and that this will ultimately help in driving this total well OVER once it's all said and done (note as well that Detroit has seen the total go OVER in eight of its last 11 after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.
