This is a 10* TOP SATURDAY TOTAL on the OVER A's/Mariners.

I've played and lost with the OVER in the first two games of this series and while each of those have come up short, I think that Saturday's game does now finally set up as a SLUG-FEST.

The visitors hand the ball to Chris Bassitt, who is 10-3 with a 3.21 ERA and who gave up three earned runs off six hits and struck out eight over seven innings in a loss to the Indians on Sunday.

Bassitt's been great overall this year, but he's started to slide a bit of late and I expect that regression to continue this evening.

The home side goes with Logan Gilbert, who is 4-2 with a 3.50 ERA and who most recently allowed two runs over five innings in a win over the Angels.

While he's 3-0 with a 2.35 ERA on the road, note though that Gilbert is just 1-2 with a 4.55 ERA at home.

The A's have seen the total go OVER in eight of their last 11 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row as well.

This number is low, the play is the OVER.
