This is a 10* TOP SUNDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Padres/Nationals.
I had a play on the UNDER in this series yesterday, and because the game was suspended in the sixth inning due to a shooting outside the arena, it was luckily deemed a no-action, as it would have been a loser otherwise.
Previous to that the Padres hammered the Nationals 24-8 on Friday night.
While the first two games of this series have clearly flown well OVER the number, I think that the finale sets up as more of a DUEL.
The visitors go with Joe Musgrove, who is 5-7 with a 2.93 ERA, while the home side goes with Max Scherzer, who is 7-4 with a 2.66 ERA.
Both have been extremely adept at keeping men off the base-paths, as evidenced by their elite WHIPs (Musgrove has a 0.88 WHIP, while Scherzer clocks in at 0.88).
I think yesterday's strange occurrence throws a monkey-wrench into these offenses and it's now time for these starting pitchers to take center stage.
This number is high, the play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
