This is an 8* CUSTOMER APPRECIATION TOTAL on the UNDER Giants/Cardinals.
While last night's opener flew OVER the number, I expect more of a "duel" here on Saturday night.
The visitors go with Anthony DeSclafani, who is 10-3 with a 2.68 ERA and who went six shutout innings against the Nationals in his final start before the break. He has a 99:29 K:BB over 107.1 innings of work this year and he's 5-2 with a tiny 2.15 ERA on the road.
The home side counters with Kwang Hyun Kim, who is 4-5 with a 3.11 ERA. He just went six scoreless in his final outing before the break. Kim's been sharp at home as well, going 2-1 with a 3.17 ERA.
In fact, Kim's now allowed one or fewer runs in five of his last six outings.
The Giants bullpen has also been fantastic this season, which doesn't bode well for this shaky Cards' offense.
Look for these two starters to battle deep and for this one to fall well UNDER once it's all said and done.
Good luck, NP
