I had a play on the OVER in this contest yesterday and while that pick came up short, I think that Saturday's contest does finally set up as more of a SLUG-FEST.
Vladimir Gutierrez is 4-3 with a 4.67 ERA and 1.38 WHIP. He earned a win over the Royals last time out, but I think he'll struggle here in this difficult road venue.
The Brewers have also seen the total go OVER in eight of their last 11 in trying to revenge a shutout home loss to an opponent.
The home side counters with Freddy Peralta, who is 7-3 with a 2.23 ERA. It's difficult to say too many negative things about Peralta, as he's been great this season, but I simply feel he's in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Note as well that the Reds have seen the total go OVER in 14 of their last 21 after shutting out their opponent in their previous outing.
