This is a 9* TOP SATURDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Tigers/Angels.

I had a play on the UNDER in yesterday's game and while that one came up short, I think that Saturday's game finally sets up as a lower-scoring affair.

The Tigers have seen the total go OVER in three straight, while the Angels have seen the total fly OVER in eight straight.

But as I say, I think Saturday's contest will finally fall UNDER.

The Tigers go with Wily Peralta, who is 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA and who is making his season debut here. He threw 1.1 innings of relief vs. the Royals on Tuesday.

He looked quite good in Triple A as well, posting a 2.75 ERA over 19.2 innings of work.

Pablo Sandoval is 1-2 with a 3.51 ERA for the Angels. He comes in off a confidence-building win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday, allowing two runs and striking out four over six innings.

Over 33.1 innings of work he now has a respectable 31:13 K:BB.

Finally, note that Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last ten after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.
