This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER Canadiens/Knights.

I had a play on the UNDER in the Islanders and Lightning yesterday and the same reasoning I had behind that selection, is the same reasoning why I also like this selection.

Both teams have been great on both ends of the ice during the playoffs, but each relies on its tough defensive play to win most nights. Vegas has the No. 1 ranked defense, while Montreal has the No. 3.

Ultimately, the last thing that Montreal can afford to do here is to allow Vegas to control or dictate the flow of Game 1, or this series. Montreal is going to have to grind out a victory and wait for the Knights to make the first mistake.

Las Vegas is adaptable, as it can play a wide open offensive affair, but is equally adept at playing more defensive contests as well.

The longer layoff is going to hurt these teams on the offensive end as well in my estimation.

When you add it all up, Game 1 has UNDER written all over it.
