10* TOP TOTAL (+$13K MLB YTD!) ~ 20-11 (+$9K) w/ 10* O/U!
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Detroit,
Total: 7.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 7.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP TOTAL on the OVER Yankees/Tigers.
A couple of really good starting pitchers going head-to-head here, but I expect this total to sneak OVER this tiny number as the game comes down the stretch.
Gerrit Cole is 6-2 with a 1.81 ERA and an amazing 92:7 K:BB this year. It's almost impossible to say anything negative about Cole, so I won't bother. I will point out though that the Yanks have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 as a road favorite in the -200 to -250 range.
Detroit sends Casey Mize (3-3, 3.42) who gave up one run over six innings in a no-decision to KC on Sunday. He owns a 40:20 K:BB over 52.2 innings of work, but if he's had one knock against him this season, it's definitely been his play at home where he's a poor 1-1 with a 5.70 ERA.
Finally, note that Detroit has seen the total go OVER in eight of its last 12 as a home dog in the +180 to +225 range.
Look for this one to sneak OVER in the latter frames.
Good luck, NP
