10* TOP A.L. SATURDAY TOTAL (+$12,000 ALL MLB YTD!)
(MLB) Tampa Bay vs. Toronto,
Total: 9.50 | -115.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 9.50 | -115.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOP AL SATURDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Rays/Jays.
Tampa has seen the total go OVER in six straight, while Toronto has seen the total go OVER in three straight.
That includes in yesterday's series opener which the Rays took 9-7 in extra innings.
Both teams have been playing to several higher-scoring affairs of late, but I believe that this total is now a little too high, as I look for this one to fall UNDER once it's all said and done.
Robbie Ray is 2-1 with a 3.79 ERA. He gave up four runs over six innings in a win over the Phillies last Sunday, also striking out nine. He's now posted at least nine strikeouts in three straight starts.
Shane McClanahan is 1-0 after allowing four runs over six innings in a 12-5 win over the Mets in his third career appearance. Clearly the sample size is small, but his stuff is awesome and he has the advantage here in never having faced the Jays before.
Finally, note that Tampa has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last ten after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.
This number is a little high now, the play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
