This is a 10* TOP THURSDAY NHL TOTAL on the OVER Knights/Wild.
Both teams are really good on both ends of the ice. Both are likely better on the defensive end though and that was evident in Game 1, as Minnesota won 1-0 in OT.
Game 2 was also a lower-scoring battle, with Vegas holding on for the 3-1 victory.
Vegas only allows 2.18 GPG, which ranks first in the NHL, while Minnesota concedes 2.84, which ranks 15th.
The Knights though average 3.39, which ranks third, while the Wild average 3.21, which ranks eighth.
As I said, these teams are equally adept at both ends of the ice, but with the shift in venue, expect a much more wide-open pace in Game 3 as each club tries to assert itself here.
Also note that Minnesota has seen the total go OVER in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a road loss vs. an opponent in which it was held to one or less goals in.
Everything points to this one sailing OVER sooner, rather than later.
