Colorado won the first game 4-1. The Blues will be laying everything on the line here to avoid the dreaded 0-2 hole and I expect them to find the back of the net a couple of times here.
The Avs average 3.52 goals per game, which is No. 1 in the league. St. Louis averages and concedes 2.98 GPG. The last thing the Blues can do is to "sit back" and hope that the Avs make the first mistake, they'll instead now be forced to open things up to try and create offense.
It's a great situational play, but also note that St. Louis has seen the total go OVER in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a road loss vs. an opponent in which it was held to one or less goals in.
Game 1 went UNDER, but all signs point to Game 2 flying well OVER as the game comes down the stretch.
