(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. Minnesota,
Total: 8.50 | 107.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 8.50 | 107.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* CUSTOMER APPRECIATION TOTAL on the UNDER Sox/Twins.
The Twins rallied in the eighth and ninth inning to take yesterday's game by a score of 5-4. The total went OVER the number. There was a pitching change just a couple of hours before game time for Minneosta, with Pineda being skipped over.
Today though I'm expecting more of a "duel" between two very hungry starting pitchers.
The visitors hand the ball to Lucas Giolito, who is 2-4 with a 4.97 ERA. He comes off an outing to forget vs. the Royals, allowing five runs over six innings. He did go on to strike out seven though and he enters with a decent 50:18 K:BB over 41.2 innings of work.
Shoemaker is 2-4 with a 6.62 ERA. He most recently was rocked for five runs over six innings in a loss to the A's. Previous to that he went five scoreless in a win over the Tigers.
Minnesota has seen the total dip UNDER in eight of its last 12 home games after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row as well.
I believe these starting pitchers are poised for their best efforts of the season and I expect that to help in driving this total UNDER once it's all said and done.
Good luck, NP
