This is a 10* TOP TUESDAY TOTAL on the UNDER Rays/Orioles.

Both teams have been involved in some higher-scoring affairs of late, but we're expecting a bit more of a "duel" here finally in the opener of this three-game series.

The visitors hand the ball to Luis Patino, who is 1-1 with a 1.54 ERA, most recently allowing two runs (one earned) over four innings while stirking out three vs. the hard-hitting Yankees.

The home side counters with Matt Harvey, who gave up seven runs off eight hits over 4.1 innings in a loss at the Mets on Wednesday. It's always difficult facing your former team, especially on the road. Obviously Harvey is well past his prime, but this is a favorable home start which I expect him to make the most of (still owns a very respectable 29:11 K:BB.)

Finally, note that Baltimore has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 12 home games after playing to four or more straight OVERS in a row.
