This is a 10* TOP SATURDAY TOTAL on the OVER Giants/Pirates.

The Giants have seen the total dip UNDER in four straight. They're off a 3-2 loss here yesterday.

The Pirates broke a two-game slide with yesterday's win, but they come in having seen the total go UNDER in three straight.

Neither team has been great at the plate this season, but I believe today's contest finally sets up as more of a "slug-fest" than a "duel."

Johnny Cueto is 2-1 with a 3.52 ERA. Cueto's early sparkling numbers are already crashing down around him, as in his last outing he was shelled for five runs off eight hits over three innings in a loss to the Padres on Sunday.

Tyler Anderson is 3-3 with a 3.05 ERA. He gave up two runs over eight innings in a win over the Cubs in his last outing for the Pirates, but note that Pittsburgh has seen the total fly OVER the number in seven of its last ten after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
