10* TOP WEDNESDAY NHL TOTAL (+$26,000 LONG-TERM NHL RUN!)
(NHL) Vegas vs. Minnesota,
Total: 5.50 | 104.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 5.50 | 104.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOP WEDNESDAY NHL TOTAL on the UNDER Vegas/Minnesota.
Minnesota and Vegas will be highly motivated here. Vegas sits in the number 1 spot in the West standings with 74 points, Colorado is in second with 72 and the Wild are in third with 70.
Anything could happen over these final five games for the Wild, mathematically they still have a shot at winning the division.
The Wild come into this one having won eight of their last ten, and that includes a 6-5 win here over Vegas on Monday night.
Minnesota has seen the total go OVER in six straight now, but I do think that the value has now finally swung the other way as far as the total is concerned.
The Golden Knights haven't given up six goals too often this year. In fact they allow just 2.24 goals per game this season, which ranks second overall.
Las Vegas has also seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a loss versus an opponent in which it allowed six or more goals in.
Vegas clearly can't afford to take the foot off the gas here either, with both the Wild and Avalanche hot on its heels.
Instead of a wide-open shootout like we saw between these clubs on Monday, I look for a real hard-nosed defensive battle.
The play is the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
