With their ace on the mound though, I like Detroit to at the very least, keep this one interesting until the very end.
Brady Singer is 0-2 with a 3.77 ERA for the Royals, while Matt Boyd is 2-1 with a 2.03 ERA for the Tigers.
I think Boyd is the superior starter here, who has a clear advantage throwing at home.
At this price, getting the extra "run-and-a-half" is a gift. Look for Boyd to easily match his counterpart and for the Tigers to finally get back into the win column here.
