This is an 8* TOP SUNDAY SIDE PLAY on the Astros.

The Astros are the better hitting team and they likely have the better starting pitcher on the hill here as well.

Houston had lost six in a row before last night's 1-0 win over the Mariners. The Astros can't be too happy or satisfied with that victory though obviously, as it was nail-biter the entire way.

Seattle on the other hand has likely been over-performing in the early going, as it's still won seven of its last ten despite the setback yesterday.

Continued regression seems imminent for the home side in our opinion though, while continued progression is also in the cards for this talented, but still hungry Astros side.

Jake Odorizzi had a bit of a shaky first outing after getting called up, and the good news was that he reached 80 pitches thrown. With that awkward first outing out of the way, the veteran has a major advantage over his younger couterpart in Justus Sheffield, who has also been poor in his limited time.

A great situational play here on the ASTROS.
