Point Spread: 1.50 | -158.00 Detroit (Away)

This is an 8* CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PLAY on the Tigers on the RUN LINE.
From both a situational stand point, and a starting pitcher stand point, this one sets up well for the hungry visiting side.
Detroit was a big surprise over the first week and a half because of its great play, while Oakland struggled out of the gate.
The times have quickly changed though, as Detroit enters having lost three straight to these very A's, while Oakland comes in on a seven-game win streak.
With the Twins coming to town tomorrow, the home side will have to be wary not to be looking ahead to that more "difficult" series.
Matt Boyd though has been great for the Tigers, he's 2-1 with a 1.86 ERA, most recently conceding one run over seven innings in an 8-2 win over the Astros.
Chris Bassitt is just 1-2 with a 4.96 ERA for the A's, most recently allowing two runs over five innings in a win over the toothless Diamondbacks.
The A's are still only 4-6 at home this year as well. After getting shutout in two straight, I'm going to lay the price here for the extra 1.5 runs in our back pocket.
The play is DETROIT on the RUN-LINE.
Good luck, NP
