After yesterday's explosive victory by Arizona, we're expecting much more of a "duel" here.

Two quality starters face off and all signs point to them being the main story lines in tomorrow's summaries.

Taylor Widener has one good start and one bad start under his belt thi syear. Most recently he gave up four runs off seven hits, with no walks, while striking out three over five innings in a no-decision vs. the Reds last Friday. In his first big league start he shutdown the Padres over six frames.

The home side counters with Max Scherzer, who enters off his first loss of the year on Sunday in a 3-0 loss to the Dodgers.

Scherzer has gone six innings in each of his first two starts and owns a fantastic 14:1 K:BB.

Finally, note that Washington has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a home loss vs. an opponent in which it allowed ten or more runs in.
