This is a 6* BIG-CHALK PUCK-LINE CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PLAY on the Canadiens.

I bet underdogs, totals and I'm also not afraid to lay chalk, and in this case while I do think Montreal could upset the Leafs outright, in the end I'm going to lay the steeper price for what I expect to be more a competitive battle than what this line is suggesting, one which I foresee being decided very late, or even in extra time.

This sets up as a classic "trap" for the Leafs. Toronto is off six-straight victories, including a much-tougher than expected 6-5 win over Ottawa at home last time out.

Now the Leafs travel to face Montreal, a team that plays with revenge here after falling 3-2 to Toronto on April 7th, but then they also then have to play Calgary at home tomorrow night.

It's a letdown/look-ahead spot for sure.

Montreal though not only plays with revenge, it plays with desperation as it looks to snap a three-game slide.

I'd sprinkle a little on the moneyline as well, but in the end let's lay the price for the extra goal-and-a-half in our back pocket.
