We think this one sets up great for a lower-scoring contest.
Edmonton is coming off a highly satisfying 3-2 OT win at Toronto just last night. Clearly, the Oilers are going to be tired after that emotional victory.
Montreal returns to action for the first time in nearly three weeks. The Habs last beat Vancouver 5-4 in a shootout on March 20th. Montreal's last three games have all seen extra time interestingly.
Regardless, Montreal only allows 2.71 GPG, and while the Habs will surely be "fresh," timing and chemistry will surely be an issue in the early going.
I'm expecting a slower-paced, hard-hitting contest, but one which stays well UNDER once it finishes.
