10* TOP DISCORD TUESDAY NHL TOTAL (+$21K LONG-TERM NHL!)
(NHL) Washington vs. NY Rangers,
Total: 6.00 | 101.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 6.00 | 101.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOP DISCORD TUESDAY NHL TOTAL on the UNDER Rangers/Caps.
This season has been unprecedented for everyone. Having to play the same teams over and over again, and sometimes four times in a row, is not something that professional sports handicappers are accustomed to whatsoever.
After Washington managed a 5-4 win here two nights ago, including a third period which featured six goals, I'm absolutely expecting a much more defensive affair this time around.
Forget about the seasonal offensive and defensive averages for each side, but we come at this play from a situational stand point, but one which is backed by some strong O/U ATS stats.
Each team sports great offensive numbers, and great defensive numbers. But look for the Capitals to double-down on the defensive end after nearly handing that last game away in the third period.
Also expect New York to focus on the defensive end after its 5-4 loss.
Situationally in our opinion, this one definitely sets up as well for more of a defensive affair.
But further note that the Rangers have seen the total go UNDER in eight of their last 11 in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent in which they conceded five or more goals in.
I'm banking on a scrappy, highly contested "chippy" affair, but one which stays well UNDER once that final buzzer sounds.
Good luck, NP
