Winnipeg just beat the Canucks here 4-0 two nights ago. That victory broke a two-game slide for the Jets, who will now look to keep the afterburners on here again in Vancouver.
It's all hands on deck for the Canucks, who had won four in a row, before now suffering back-to-back losses.
Neither team enters complacent, as each is looking to break out of a shaky period of play.
From a situational stand point, this one absolutely sets up as a SHOOTOUT.
Also note though that the Canucks have seen the total go OVER the number in 12 of their last 17 games in trying to revenge a shutout loss vs. an opponent.
