If you don't mind laying some mid-sized chalk, we think Calgary is worth a second look against the putrid Senators.

The Flames are 15-14-3, while the Sens are 10-20-3.

Calgary comes in motivated and ready to respond after a 2-0 loss to the Leafs last time out.

The Flames have plenty of issues across the board, but so too do the Senators obviously, who have lost five of their last six. Most recently it was a 3-2 shootout loss to the Canucks.

Ottawa is interestingly just 10-31 in it slast 41 vs. clubs with losing records. It's also 0-5 in its las vie home games vs. a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400.

Calgary's numbers across the board are far superior than Ottawa's. These teams have played five times this year, and Ottawa has gone 3-2. Look for Calgary to even up the season series, as its offense gets back on track against a Senators' defense which has conceded three or more goals in nine out of their last ten games.

Consider CALGARY on Monday.
