The Flyers managed to snap a two-game slide with a slim 5-4 OT win at New York in their last game, but I think goals will be at more of a premium on Wednesday.
Goaltending has suffered for both teams, but a couple of strong O/U trends have us finally expecting more of a defensie affair in this one, as the Flyers have seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of their last 12 after scoring five or more goals in an OT victory in their last outing, while the Rangers have seen the total dip UNDER in ten of their last 14 in trying to revenge an OT home loss vs. an opponent in which they conceded five or more goals in.
Both teams are equally as hungry for a victory here. Each is struggling with injuries as well, but we think that after their high-scoring game here two nights ago, that Wednesday's contest will fall UNDER once the final horn sounds.
