Lakers fans can empathize though, as LA enters having lost six of eight.
LA is still dealing with significant injuries, while Indiana enters rested. The Lakers are going to need to put together a big second half win streak at some point, but I don't expect that to be in Game 1 with only half the team ready to go.
Indiana though is in desperation mode from the start here if it wants to get back into the thick of the playoff conversation.
