We think this is a reasonable mid-sized price to lay here for the extra goal-and-a-half.
The Lightning are the better team. If this were a seven-game series, the Bolts would win it. They have the superior goaltending.
Chicago though is much better than most would have thought and after splitting the first two games of this series, including losing the first one 3-2 in OT and then winning the second one 4-3 in a shootout, everything once again points to a tight, competitive battle here on Sunday as well.
Chicago averages 3.08 GPG, while allowing 2.88.
Tampa averages 3.50 GPG, while allowing 2.00.
But with a night off, before a much more "winnable" series in Detroit, this also sets up as a look-ahead contest for the visiting side.
We look for Chicago to once again push the champs to the brink. Grab the 1.5 goals and lay the mid-sized price.
