The Grizzlies have split their last eight games. The Grizz had to adjust for a bit without their best play in Ja Morant in the line-up, and while he's back, Memphis has yet to regain its overall form. The Grizz average 111.1 PPG, while allowing 112.4.

Dallas struggled with consistency over the first month of the season, but the Mavericks have looked better of late by winning five of their last six. Overall the Mavs average 112.9 PPG, while allowing 114.6.

The weakness of each of these teams?

Clearly the defensive side of things. You can't average less points than you give up and expect to win games in the NBA.

Both teams have played to plenty of "overs" of late, but that's helped in driving up this total a little too high in my opinion.

Expect each side to double down on the defensive end and look for this total to stay well UNDER once the final seconds tick off the clock.
