This is a 10* GAME OF THE MONTH on the Dallas Mavericks.
These teams are very similar in many regards. Their offensive and defensive numbers are similar. They've each had to deal with adversity, but each is starting to play a lot better over the last few weeks.
The Mavericsk though are just 1-9 ATS in their last ten, and I think that lop-sided trend does finally get broken here.
I could easily write a convincing argument for either of these teams, but it just sets up much better for Luka Doncic and the surging home side, as I expect New Orleans to get caught looking ahead to its more winnable game at Detroit up next.
The public has been quick to fade the Mavericks over the last month or so, but I think the value has now finally swung the other way for the home side here.
