This is a 10* NON-CONFERENCE GAME OF THE WEEK on the Pistons.
Detroit is terrible and the Lakers are the defending champs.
LA is playing on its own floor here, and clearly that's why this spread is so large.
I think it's a little too large though, as LA truly doesn't need to run up the score whatsoever to domiante this game.
The Lakers are coming off a big and satisfying win over the Nuggets and then enjoy a night off, before three straight at home vs. WEstern Conference competition.
Detroit beat the Lakers 107-92 back on January 28th. The Pistons are off a 109-92 loss at Phoenix in their last outing, but note that they're 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games after failing to score 95 points in a SU/ATS loss in their previous outing.
I think LA is going to rest some players as well in the second half, while I look for Detroit to push the pace from start to finish.
