There's many reasons to like the Sooners today.
Oklahoma plays with revenge here after losing to Iowa State in Week 1. Since then, it's been a complete turn-around on both sides of the ball for Oklahoma. QB Lincoln Riley started off slowly, but he has his team entering this one off six straight blowout wins.
But the Sooners defense has been even more impressive and I think that Brock Purdy and company will have a hard time keeping pace. Purdy has actually regressed from last year's stellar campaign and while the Cyclones' defense has been decent, I think it'll have its hands full with Riley and company.
The bottom line is that the Sooners have allowed 14 points or fewer in four of their last five games.
I'm laying the points in the Big 12 Championship game this year.
