This is an 8* FALSE-FAVORITE on Northeastern.

The Orange enter off a 101-63 win over Boston College, a game that they were only favored by 3.5 points. It was a huge offensive explosion and suffice it to say, I don't expect lightning to strike twice here.

Northeastern is relatively fresh, as it's had a couple games canceled due to COVID 19 issues. The Huskies average 78.5 PPG, while conceding 84.5.

Syracuse is by far the better team in every respect, as it averages 83.4 PPG and it allows just 64.6.

But with a game against Buffalon Friday, followed by their conference schedule on Monday with Notre Dame, I think the Orange take the foot off the gas in the second half.

Northeastern is also 7-2 ATS in its last nine after scoring 77 or more points in a SU victory in its last outing.

The Huskies can score, they just can't defend. But with the Orange coasting after the break, the stage is set for a closer than expected result once the final horn sounds.
