I like the 4-1 Mountaineers to sneak in through the back door down the stretch.
Most recently the Mountaineers picked up their second-straight win, a 61-57 effort over Charlotte.
The Vols are 2-0, most recently coming off a 65-56 win over Cincinnati.
With two complete "cream puffs" at home (Tennessee Tech and South Carolina Upstate), before their first conference action on December 30th at Missouri, I think Tennessee's concentration will lack in the second half of this contest.
Both teams are similar, as they revolve around their strong defensive play. App State allows just 55.2 PPG, while Tennessee concedes 51.5.
There's no chance that Tennessee is going to lose this game, but at the same time, there's too many situational factors working against it here to warrant a spread of this size.
