WMU is coming off two high-scoring affair (both wins), beating Akron 58-13 and Toled 41-38.
CMU is 2-0 as well, beating Ohio 30-27 and then NIU by a score of 40-10. The Chips are holding their opposition to under 18.5 points per game and they are 24th in the nation in yards per game on the ground. I expect the home side to look to "control" the ball while on offense.
WMU is no slouch on the defensive side either though, ranked 47th in the nation by conceding only 25.5 PPG.
With a clear step up in competition here for both teams, I'm expecting more of a "chess match" than a run and gun "shootout."
