Point Spread: -2.50 | -115.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* SUPER BLOWOUT on the Washington Football Team.
Divisional contests always mean the most and they almost always mean the most to the home side...and in this case...I do indeed like the Washington Football team here...
Craig Trapp has actually said this quite a few times...that sometimes its the "garbage games" where you can find the most value...the only thing is...this isn't really a garbage game...it's an important one for Washington...as after smashing Dallas 25-3 two weeks ago...it still sits in second place in the NFC East with a record of 2-5.
The Giants lost 25-24 at home to Tampa in a heartbreaking setback...with puts them at 1-7 and officially out of contention unless a miracle were to occur.
New York's season was on the brink last week..and after that devastating loss...I think the Giants are just going to go through the motions today...
In fact..the Giants only win this year came a couple weeks ago vs. this very Washington team...so the revenge factor also comes into play here for the home side...
The Giants are also down to their third string running back...
Washington though has looked much better since moving away from Dwayne Haskins and going with Kyle Allen. Washington had to face a difficult schedule to over its first four games...vs. the Cardinals, Browns, Ravens and Rams. All four of those teams look like they'll be in the playoffs.
Washington is also 5-1 against the spread in its last six following a straight up win, while New York is only 8-20-1 against the spread in its last 29 following an against the spread victory.
Washington's looked a lot better on both sides of the ball of late...its playing with revenge...its playing at home...and its playing against a team with absolutely nothing at all to play for here...I'm laying the points and expecting a blowout!
