Both teams come in having lost two straight. The UCF Knights had aspirations for a National Championship before the season started, but that dream is long gone.

Tulane QB Michael Pratt is winless so far. Note that two-thirds of Tulane's offensive production comes on the ground, thanks to seven major scores from RB Cameron Carroll.

The Golden Knights enter off a heart-breaking 50-49 loss to Memphis last time out and I think they'll be caught flat-footed to start this contest, after the marathon setback to the Tigers.

QB Dillon Gabriel had 601 passing yards, but it's hard to imagine him duplicating that performance, even against thi suspect Tulane secondary.

This total is very high. These teams DO NOT play defense. However, the situation that each finds themselves in coming into this contest leads me to believe that this will finally be more of a defensive affair.

I expect a highly competitive affiar until the final whistle, but I also look for this total to stay UNDER as well!
