This is a 10* TOTAL ASSASSIN on the UNDER SMU/Tulane.

SMU QB SHane Buechele helped guide his team to a 30-27 win over Memphis last weekend. SMU had a 24-3 lead, before the Tigers came back to tie it up at 27-27.

The win moved the Mustangs to 4-0, but it came at a huge cost as both top RB TJ McDaniel and top WR Reggie Roberson Jr. were lost to injury.

SMU managed just two FG's after those two players went down and I think the offense is going to struggle to maintain its dynamic form moving forward.

Tulane turns to freshman QB Michael Pratt, who had just 141 yards and a TD in last week's loss to Houston. The Green Wave offense could only muster 211 yards in the setback.

The Green Wave a run first offense, but the unit had just 70 yards on 45 carries last time out. However, Tulane's run game is still ranked ninth in the country in averaging 242.8 YPG.

SMU is only allowing 23.3 PPG and with its two star offensive players sidelined, the game-plan is going to change somewhat for the Mustangs moving forward.

The table is set for a classic lower-scoring UNDER in this one!
