This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the UNDER Missouri/Tennessee.
The Tigers play their second-straight game against a ranked opponent, last week getting hammered by Alabama 38-19.
Tennessee enters off a 31-27 win over South Carolina. Missouri has a difficult task with no non-conference games this season due to the pandemic.
Missouri did look good in the second half vs. the Crimson Tide though, winning the second half 16-10. Shawn Robinson had 185 yards passing and a TD. The defense was good vs. a tough Alabama offense, allowing 414 total yards. The total in that contest was set at 56 and it landed on 57.
But as mentioned, Missouri looked A LOT better defensively in the second half and I expect it to carry that momentum over here.
The Vols pulled off a four-point win over South Carolina, but they squandered a 14-point third quarter lead. Overall Tennessee had 394 total yards of offense. Defensively it conceded only 379.
Tennessee pushed as a four-point favorite, but the total also went over by 13 points.
These teams defenses are underrated and I expect a hard-fought "chess match," rather than a wide-open "shoot-out."
