Maryland takes on Michigan State in a Big 10 opener for both teams. Maryland quarterback Gavin Edwards completed 20 of 27 passes for 311 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 39 yards on five carries.
Maryland’s offense is firing on all cylinders putting up 629 total yards last week.
They are in a much better shape than a rebuilding Michigan State squad that looked mediocre-at-best in their opener against a bad FAU squad. The Terps are strong up front with five returning starters. Running will be difficult for Sparty and that will force Chiles to throw. He was bad against Florida Atlantic last week and he'll struggle yet again on the road.
