The Patriots won their first preseason game with new HC Mayo as they beat Carolina 17-3. The two things that stick out in that win is that the Patriots threw the ball 32 times and the D held the Panthers to 151 yards and got 5 sacks. Blitzing in the preseason is a team you want to back.
Head Coach Jerod Mayo said that this honestly is a huge week for everyone.
Philadelphia did beat Baltimore last week but the offense didn't do much and HC Sirianni normally comes out very vanilla in these games. Even with the win LW , Sirianni is just 2-6-2 SU in the preseason.

Brissett and May both played last week and expected more this week while Hurts will likely not see any action.
