The Syracuse DL will be overmatched. They could hold their end of the bargain against a reasonably weak slate of foes who did not focus on running the football. The last two weeks however, against the OL and running games of Clemson and Notre Dame exposed them. Last week, ‘Cuse was outrushed 246-61. The week prior, Clemson gashed them for 293 yards overland. With their bubble burst, they now travel to face an angry Pitt team who has dropped to 4-4 SU in a season in which much more was expected. In fact, Pitt would have been a double digit favorite in this game opening week. Look for the Panthers to get a big win and cover on Saturday afternoon.
