The Washington Capitals are hoping to get back to the Stanley Cup after a two-year absence behind the new beast of the East TB.
The Caps have Kuemper in for goalie and he gives Washington a legitimate #1 goalie that
has a .921 save percentage last season for Arizona with five shutouts.
He'll want to start strong in the home opener.

The Boston Bruins are banged up without their #1 defensemen in McAvoy and arguably their best winger on both the power play and penalty kill in Marchand.

The Caps have a number of key veterans on expiring deals that will come out with something to prove this season. The first team to face their wrath will be Boston.
