We roll with the Panthers as we think they are the better overall team right now.
There is lots of buzz with the NYG since their win last week. That said I think there's too much buzz and this is an over reaction to last week's win and they have a let down here. Lets not forget they were shut out in the 1st half and basically had 1 good quarter of football.
I still do not trust the NYG QB or the Giants favored against anyone. Baker Mayfield didn't get many reps in the pre-season but I think he'll play well vs the NYG defense. The Panthers have a much more effective quarterback than last season, with Mayfield running the show.

I look for McCaffrey to have a bigger role this week setting the table for Baker and company as well. One final stat for this game is since 2014 when a team has 0 wins, lost as a home favorite in their previous game, and are now on the road they are 34-9 ATS (79%). Tighten it up a little more- if the line is between -5.5 to +5.5 they are 25-2 ATS good for (93%).
