Iowa won on the road last year and I expect them to win at home here on Saturday evening.

The annual inner- state rivalry game is here. Iowa State lost plenty of firepower from last year’s potent offense including QB Brock Purdy.
They still have a good offense but it’s not as strong as last year. Iowa has an elite defense that was one of the best in the Big Ten last year and could be even better this season.

Furthermore, Iowa State has not been able to solve the Hawkeyes, losing in each of the last five years.


While Iowa’s offense struggled last week with only 3 pts on offense, 2 turnovers and they were 4-18 on 3rd down conversations, they should be much better after a week of action.
Iowa St QB Petras threw for 1880 yards last year and 10 TD's so he'll have a much better showing in this game I predict.
