Nats starter Corbin has been especially ineffective this season and will really have his work cut out for him here. Expect to see plenty of base traffic from a NY squad that owns the 6th best batting average in the league. The Mets also possess an excellent pitching staff anchored by Scherzer that is more than capable of blanking one of the weaker power-hitting teams in baseball. The Mets are hot at the moment riding a five-game winning streak, and they have dominated the Nats head-to-head this year with an 8-2 record. Washington is also not in good form at just 5-12 in their last 17 games. Look for New York to roll here here on Monday so play the Mets on the runline -1.5 runs.
