He has a 2.87 ERA and has managed three straight starts while posting just a 1.35 ERA. Wainwright’s worst start of the season came against this Brewers team when he gave up 4 runs in just 4.1 innings of work, and he will want to make up for that with a stronger outing at home with a little revenge this time.

The Brewers are just 3-8 as a road underdog, and just had to travel from the West coast while STL had a day off.
The Cards will be very motivated to come out and get Game 1 on Thursday night.
