Both offenses have been about equal this season, but the Pirates' bullpen (3.38 ERA) has been much better than Washington's (4.85 ERA).


Pittsburgh comes in having won 3 of 4 and have scored 6 or more runs in all 3 wins. The Pirates go with veteran Jose Quintana on the mound, who was sharp in his first start of 2022, giving up just 1 run in 5 1/3 innings against the Cubs.


Pittsburgh also has the home-field and starting pitching advantage, as Patrick Corbin is 11-25 with a 5.64 ERA since the start of 2020. I have to go with the Pirates here on Sunday to get the series win.
