I like the Twins to win their home opener here on Friday afternoon. I know a lot of people are high on Seattle this year. I’m not one of them. This team was a massive overachiever last year, thanks in part to an absurd 33-19 record in one-run games and a 14-7 mark in extra inning affairs. That’s not happening again this year so expect them to regress. Robbie Ray struggled in 2020 as he posted a putrid 6.62 ERA before his breakthrough effort last season. So I’m seeing regression for both the Mariners and for Ray.
