The Seahawks are 155th in the sport with a +1.45 rating while the Blue Raiders are 91st in the nation with a +8.75 rating. These defenses have shown the major difference as Middle Tennessee is allowing 57.7 points per game while UNC Wilmington is giving up 72.3 points per game. Jaylen Sims needs to step up and dominate but asking him to do too much is not going to be well and the Blue Raiders can shut him down.

Overall I believe Middle Tennessee is the better team and should be able to cover the spread.
