This Butler team is now a very valid, power conference team. These are also not your dominant, final four ready Michigan State Spartans as his team is young and its going to take some time for them to get on the same page. Coach Izzo's teams usually hit their stride some time around early February. Butler is the better defensive team and protects the ball better and rebounds better. Michigan State is deeper and can score in more ways, although again, this will probably happen later in the season. This is the first true road game for Michigan State and Butler will take full advantage of their home crowd and home court edge and win here on Wednesday night.
